vary in cost. Before discussing funeral services and merchandise for making funeral
arrangements, your funeral director is mandated by federal laws to provide you a
General Price List for your retention. The General Price List for Howard K. Hill
Funeral Services is provided here for your convenience.

These prices are effective as of July 1,2011, but they are subject to change
without notice.
The goods and services shown below are
those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire;
however, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic
services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items
you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement
we provide, describing the funeral merchandise and services you selected.
1. LOCAL TRANSFER OF REMAINS TO THE FUNERAL HOME:

2. EMBALMING: Except in
certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary,
however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a FUNERAL WITH VIEWING.
If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement
that does not require you to pay for it, such as DIRECT CREMATION or IMMEDIATE BURIAL.
DISCLAIMER: We reserve the right to embalm human remains entered into our custody
if Funeral Director deems it necessary for public health safety.

4. BASIC SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL
DIRECTOR, STAFF & OVERHEAD $1,495.00
This fee (for our basic service and overhead) will be added to the total cost of
the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges
for Direct Cremations, Immediate Burials, and Forwarding or Receiving Remains. Includes
the following: Staff available 24 hours daily to respond to the initial request
for services; Conference with the family or its representative, and advice to determine
desired services and to obtain vital statistical information for required documents;
Sheltering of Remains for 4 days; Coordinating the desired funeral service plans
with: clergy, cemetery, crematory, and/or other third parties; Preparation and filing
of all necessary notices, authorizations and permits with governmental offices;
Follow-up attention to related details connected with the service. In addition,
this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs such as: Compliance
with infectious waste management regulations, and employee safety regulations mandated
by governmental agencies; General administration; and Record keeping.
